"The foolishness of God is greater than any man's wisdom" and
"its the word of a testimony that brings people to the victory"
My new aim, to be on fire for God.
God knows how i think because for 33 years he came down to earth and was one of us, he then invites us to think like him. Eternal thinking not temporary thinking. Viewing the world in a new light. Seeing past this short time on earth to the ultimate aim in life, the kingdom of heaven and being with God forever. so why then is it that when routine sets in, Jesus gets pushed out of that routine? He brings victory. i am in that routine for him. so what am i doing for him? for his glory.
Firstly, we owe all our gratitude and thanksgiving to God. Sometimes it seems like i get more excited, thankful and relieved over a cup of tea and a biscuit after school compared to an astounding offer of eternal life and complete forgiveness due to the sacrifice God made.
Secondly, 'greater things are yet to be done in this city" i honestly believe that God has big big plans for my city. my school. I'm already seeing friends who i'd never have imagined softening there hearts, accepting Jesus as friend and saviour. God isn't a one of God, his aim is to seek and save the lost. And God wants to use me. "let your will be done in me".
Thirdly, Its impossible to be a "secret christian" We overcome and are protected by the blood of the lamb. What more of a reason do i need to stand up for him in school? I'm completely safe in the arms of God. That doesn't mean witnessing will run smoothly, it'll be anything but that, however i need courage and strength from our living God to do this.
What gifts and talents do you have that God could be using to bring more people into his kingdom?
